The Journey Chp.1

(Ok well this is my first story that i've written on here so.. don't expect it to be good, Tell me how i can improve it or whatever xD)


                    The Journey
I walked out the door slamming it behind me. "I don't need them." I said to myself, Throwing my bag over my shoulder, I looked up at the sky as the dark clouds rolled in, I started to make a run to the closet shelter from the rain, I ran up the side walk I saw a bus pull in, "Perfect timing." I said as I got on the bus. The doors opened and I dropped my money in his hand. "Thanks Boy." The large man said as he took the money away from my hand. The bus was crowded; I found a seat and sat down not looking at the person next to me, avoiding their dirty look as to why I didn't bring a coat and an umbrella. I really didn't need to deal with this right now, So I just sat my bag down by my legs. Expecting the person to move a little further away from me, "Hey, you, Didn't you have an umbrella?" The lady right next to me said poking my clothes. "If I had an umbrella would I be wet?" I said not caring how I sounded, I didn't even look at her I had much better things to do then respect the people who usually wave people off. Expecting the lady to go on about how I have no manners, instead she just laughed "I guess so, Here" She handed me a umbrella, I looked at the lady she was about 15 with thick brown hair and green eyes, I looked at the umbrella and turned away. "No because what are you supposed to use?" I asked pulling my hoodie up. "Oh no, don't worry about me after this stop my house is just right where the bus stops, So don't worry," she smiled. As I looked at her I felt a bit annoyed "I don't need charity, I'm no poor!" I turned away, automatically she put her hand on my forehead, "No I don't think your poor and I'm not doing this out of charity, you're burning up no wonder, Your drenched in water." As she felt my forehead her cold hands felt good on my steaming face, I pulled my head away. She smiled and put the umbrella in my hand, it's no use of putting up a fight anymore I thought. I just sighed "Thanks." I let my head fall up against the Cochin of the bus, "I'm Aspen, and you are?" Her eyes looking directly at me. "What are we friends now?" I don't need to tell her my name. It's not like I'll see her again why waste my breath. "But what if we see each other again?" she yelled. "Very unlikely." I said as I waved her off, she kept poking me "Tell me, Tell me, Tell me." She repeated over and over that made me mad. "Fine! I'll tell you just shut up ok?!" She nodded as I said that "I'm Haru." I said so plainly. "Nice to meet you, I just moved here a few weeks ago so I don't know that many people that's why I wanna know every person I meet. You look about sixteen, Am I right?" I nodded"You just moved here… What school are you attending?" Knowing the odds of her not going to my school. "Oh look it my stop, Gotta go see you later!" She hopped off the bus like a kid. Gosh she was weird never met a person like that before and don't plan to meet a person like that again.
